Any idea of costs while in ukraine or moldova?

Moldova must be really cheap. My niece is living there right now. The people don't even have toilets in ordinary housing...they still use outhouses, and don't have showers. Be prepared for some really spartan conditions! (I'm sure the hotels are better than where the folks live, though, but still maybe more spartan and more cheap than Ukraine).
