Which decade was better, the 90's or the 00's?

Since Y2K was a bust, the 00's were allowed to continue. So, which decade was more enjoyable to live in overall. I thought the 00's kind of sucked, no personality, everyone is bombarded by technology, no more flannel shirts. George W. was president twice... Instead of Nirvana and Pearl Jam, we have Nickleback and high school musical. I blame all of this on 9/11.
