My gauged ear is acting funny! help please.?

ill make it quick and painless, so here we go. gauged my ears.. skipped a size.. or two.. no pain what-so-ever.. got perfect ears nd perfect holes.. everything is healled.. the skin around the hole is softer than my other lobe ( just startin the gauge on that one ) and it has almost no feeling when i touch it.. like dead? i dont know.. im a little worried but an ear is an ear, what do i give? ahhah.. help me out tho.. yuppp
