Help me get my life back, depression?
Meditation and yoga. I am insane without them, which I discover every time I stop. Even 10-30 mins a day. Also reading a good novel. It forces your mind into someone else's life, which is mercifully not yours so you can deal with it. It can give you temporary relief. Plus, decide not to make any decisions on your life until the sewage-colored gles come off. These things can have better and worse cycles, and knowing that you don't have to decide about your life until you're feeling better causes you to feel better about your safety (not that the ER should be out of the question in bad cases.) My boyfriend gets down about once every month or two since we started dating 6 years ago. Don't worry. This is just one of the worst bouts. You can survive it and get to a good place again.
