Eeoc medeation?

I have went and filed a claim against a company I worked for. I was only employed for 4 months and the was fired. (after 90 day probation period) I made the claim saying that they fired me because they only needed me until they could hire another person that was hispanic to fill my job. (This is at Cisco Systems housekeeping where there are 7 hispanics, 1 white woman, and one black man) My dad and sister work there and told me a week after I left that they had already hired two more people who we're hispanic. Now, I have gotten a letter from the eeoc and it says that we are now going to medeation.. Is medeation good? Has anyone here had to go to one of these? What are the benefits of this? Can I be offered anything? I mean I know I can get back pay, which would be awesome but, what are things that I should ask ?? Trying to be prepared in this one. Thanks so much everyone!
